Watercolour House Portrait Print

Your Home, Painted in Watercolour

A new house is the biggest thing most of us ever buy, and the first photo is usually taken on a phone from the pavement, the day the keys are handed over. Our personalised house portrait print turns that photo into a painting: your home in fine ink linework and soft watercolour washes, with your names, your address and the year you moved in set beneath it.

You don’t need a perfect photo. We paint the house and its front garden and leave out everything else — the car on the drive, the wheelie bins, the SOLD board and the street lamp — and where something was in the way, we paint what would be behind it. Brick, stone, render, the colour of your front door and the number on it are all kept, so it is unmistakably your house.

Four Paper Colours

Choose ivory, linen, sage or blush. The painting is printed into the paper rather than on top of it, so its washes fade softly into the page. The heading reads “Our First Home” unless you change it — “Home Sweet Home” and “Our Forever Home” are popular too. Order it as an unframed print, a ready-to-hang framed house print or a mounted print, in sizes from 11″ × 14″ up to 24″ × 36″.

A New Home Gift That Means Something

It is a thoughtful housewarming gift and a lovely first home gift for a couple who have just got the keys. It also makes a sentimental present for parents leaving the family home after many years, or for a wedding or anniversary. You see your painted house in the preview before you order, and every print is made to order in the UK.
