Marble Text Suitcase

Everyone else at the carousel is watching for a black rectangle. You are watching for the one with your own words written across it in gold — which is the practical argument for a personalised text suitcase, and the reason nobody who owns one goes back to a plain bag.

Type anything you like. A name, a couple's surname and the year they got married, a nickname only two people understand, or something entirely daft — "Emotional Baggage", "Not Yours, Karen", "If Found Please Return To The Pool Bar". We size the wording for you: one word fills the shell, a sentence wraps neatly across two or three lines, and either way it is set to the full width of the case rather than floating in the middle of it.

Behind the words are the same twenty-two marbles as our monogram case — classic Carrara white and Calacatta gold, dramatic Nero Marquina black and gold, emerald, malachite, blue agate, sodalite navy, blush rose, rose quartz, honey onyx and travertine. Pick the font (an engraved Cinzel capital, a high-contrast fashion serif, a condensed sans) and the colour it prints in, from gold and rose gold through champagne and silver to charcoal and black. Order it alongside the initial case and the pair match exactly, because they are drawn from the same stones and the same palette.

Every stone was generated at print resolution and stored, not photographed off a stock library, so the veining is unique to us and your wording never lands awkwardly across a joint or a watermark. The design is dye-sublimated onto a canvas which is then encapsulated beneath the clear polycarbonate front shell, which is why it survives the hold: there is nothing on the surface to scratch off.

It makes an unusually good gift — a 21st, 30th or 40th, an engagement or honeymoon, a graduation, a retirement trip, a hen do or a leaving present — because you get to choose exactly what it says.
