Passport Stamp Suitcase

Most personalised suitcases put a name on a pattern. This one puts your travels on it. The whole front of the case is printed as a page from a passport — the pale security-printed paper, the fine wavy lines, the rosette in the middle — and across it are the stamps from the places you have actually been.

You choose the places. Type them in with commas between them and a year after any you want dated: Paris 2019, Rome, New York 2022, Tokyo, Sydney 2024. Each one becomes its own stamp — a round one with the city arched round the rim, an oblong entry stamp, an oval, an octagon or a boarding-card stub with a little plane on it — in its own ink, red, green, violet, teal or brown, pressed at its own slight angle and worn at the edges the way a real rubber stamp leaves ink on paper.

Across the middle, in the largest type on the case, is a "Property of" stamp with your name on it — a surname for a couple or a family, or just your own — and a line underneath that reads World Traveller unless you would rather it said something else: Honeymoon 2026, Est. 1998, Mr & Mrs. It is the line that makes the case yours at the far end of a baggage hall, so it is printed in the darkest ink on the page.

It makes an unusually personal present: for a honeymoon, a wedding or an anniversary trip, a 30th, 40th or 60th spent somewhere new, a gap year, a retirement or the couple who are always going somewhere. Pick one of four page colours — cream, sky blue, sage or blush — and every stamp and every line is drawn fresh for your wording, so no two cases are the same.

The print is dye-sublimated onto a canvas which is then encapsulated beneath the clear polycarbonate front shell, so there is nothing on the surface to scratch off in the hold. Cabin, check-in and hold sizes are all available, each with a built-in lock and four 360° double swivel wheels.
