Every other case on the baggage carousel is black. Yours has your own photograph on the front of it, a metre tall.

The personalised photo suitcase does exactly what it says: you upload one picture, crop it in the box on this page, and we print it across the entire front shell. There is no text to write, no style to choose and nothing added on top of your photo — what you frame in the cropper is what turns up. The crop box is the same shape as the suitcase front, so you can see straight away how the picture will sit before you order.

The print itself is dye-sublimated onto a canvas which is then encapsulated underneath the clear polycarbonate front shell, rather than printed on top of it. That is why it survives the hold: there is nothing on the surface to peel or scratch off. Behind the shell you get the same case as the rest of our range — a built-in combination lock, four 360° double swivel wheels, an adjustable telescopic handle, two inner pockets and a removable lining — in cabin, check-in and hold sizes.

It makes a genuinely memorable gift for a honeymoon, a milestone birthday, a retirement trip, a graduation or a year abroad, and unlike most personalised presents it gets used every single holiday. Photos of children and grandchildren, wedding photos, the dog, a favourite landscape or an in-joke someone will have to explain at security all work equally well. For the sharpest result use the best-quality original you have — the suitcase front is by far the largest thing we print, so a screenshot or a heavily compressed image will show its limits at that size.
