Personalised Swimsuits

Size up. These are cut to a swimwear fit and they come up smaller than a normal UK dress size, so if you are between sizes — or if you are buying it as a surprise and guessing — take the larger one. XS to 3XL are all the same price, and a swimsuit that is slightly roomy still gets worn; one that is slightly tight does not.

Yes — front and back, all over, right to the edges. That matters more on a swimsuit than on most things we make: people see the back of it all day round a pool. On the face swimsuit that means one enormous face on the front and the same face again on the back, so there is no angle from which the joke stops working.

It is what the product is for. The usual hen party route is a sash and a slogan t-shirt that gets worn once and binned; this is the bride in a swimsuit covered in the groom's face at the pool, and it photographs brilliantly. Order it a few weeks ahead — they are made to order overseas, so it is not a next-day buy.

No. The design is dye-sublimated into the fabric rather than printed on top of it, so there is nothing sitting on the surface for chlorine, salt water or sun cream to lift. It will not crack or peel either, and the fabric stays as soft as it started.

Not where it is printed, and we print the whole thing. The fabric is a light 178gsm, and a light swim fabric left unprinted can be a little sheer — which is exactly why both our designs cover every inch of both panels. The face mash fills the suit with heads; the face swimsuit floods everything around the face with your chosen colour.

A clear, well-lit photo with the face looking straight at the camera and a bit of room around the head. We cut the head out of your photo automatically, and a sharp, brightly lit face cuts out far more cleanly than a dark or blurry one. Sunglasses, hats and hoods all make it harder. Check the preview before you order — what you see there is what gets printed.

These are made to order by our print partners overseas, so allow around twelve days for printing and dispatch plus delivery on top. If it is for a particular weekend, order two to three weeks ahead. You will get a dispatch email with tracking as soon as yours is on its way.

Rinse it in cold water after swimming, the way you would any swimsuit, then hand wash cold and dry it flat out of direct sun. No bleach, no tumble dryer and do not iron the print. The design is in the fibres, so it washes without dulling.

Get in touch as quickly as you can. Nothing goes to print the moment you pay, so if you have uploaded the wrong photo or picked the wrong size we can usually change it. Once it is printed it is yours — it has somebody's face on it, so we cannot sell it to anyone else.
