Personalised Wrapping Paper

Each sheet is 30" x 36" — that is 76cm x 91cm, a bit larger than a standard supermarket roll unrolled twice. One sheet comfortably wraps a shoebox-sized present with enough spare for the folds, or two or three small gifts if you are careful with the scissors. Order more than one sheet for larger boxes and they arrive together in the same tube.

Matte has a soft, non-reflective surface — it is the classic gift-wrap look and it hides fingerprints and fold marks best. Glossy has a light-catching sheen that makes strong colours and dark backgrounds look richer under a Christmas tree or a camera flash. Both are printed on the same 90gsm fine-art paper at the same price, so it is purely a look you are choosing.

No — it is rolled into a tube and posted that way. Folded wrapping paper arrives with hard creases straight through the design, which looks especially obvious when the design is somebody you know. Rolled means it lies flat as soon as you unroll it.

Your design covers the sheet, so however you cut it the pattern carries on — there is no panel of blank paper in the middle and no branding of ours anywhere on it. Like all printed paper it goes through the press with small production marks near the very edge, which end up inside a fold or trimmed off as you wrap.

The sharpest, best-lit one you have, with the subject facing the camera. We cut the face or the pet out of the photo automatically, and a clear, well-lit subject cuts out far more cleanly than a dark or blurry one. Leave a bit of room around the head when you crop.

It works for anything — birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, new babies, leaving dos and stag or hen weekends. The face designs in particular have become a running joke gift: wrapping somebody's present in their own face is the sort of thing that gets photographed before it gets opened.

Every sheet is printed to order in the UK. Allow around ten days for printing and dispatch, then standard UK delivery on top — so order in good time if it is for a particular date. You will get a dispatch email with tracking as soon as yours is on its way.

Yes. It is plain 90gsm fine-art paper with no foil, glitter or plastic laminate, so it goes in the normal paper recycling once the present is open — assuming anyone is willing to throw it away.
